The role: To provide support to the Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Key Responsibilities:
• Understand Care UK’s legal framework for processing Subject Access Requests and any other data requests - under the Access to Health Records Act
• To assist with the processing of SARs made to Care UK in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and Care UK’s policies and procedures.
• To carry out the data protection due diligence on acquisitions and provide post completion support assimilating the new businesses into Care UK
• To provide monthly progress reports for on-going SARs and other data requests.
• Support the legal team by providing an accurate and efficient administrative
• Draft and produce correspondence, e-mails, reports and other documentation as required
• Ensure all telephone calls are dealt with in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
• Communicate with wide ranging groups including members of the public, senior managers, Courts and other external organisations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and legislation
