Aramark UK has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal & Compliance Administrator to join its UK legal team, supporting the UK Onshore & Offshore business. This is a great opportunity to be part of a tight-knit in-house team where you'll gain exposure to diverse paralegal and compliance work in a growing company.

You'll have the chance to enhance your skills and make meaningful contributions to the department. You'll also collaborate with our international legal team, gaining valuable experience and training in a global environment. Reporting to the VP & Assistant General Counsel, this role offers flexibility so you will have the chance to work remotely for some of the week. We would expect travel to London once a week for team meetings and (less frequent) travel further afield as and when required by the business.

Key responsibilities

Commercial:
• Review and prepare initial responses to tenders and NDAs
• Manage document approvals, executions and electronic filings
• Conduct legal research and assist with know-how and presentations
• Provide general administrative and support functions

Company Secretarial:
• Schedule and coordinate board meetings and document execution
• Maintain statutory books, registers and submit annual compliance statements and Companies House filings
• Handle statutory accounts filings, prepare board resolutions and provide company information to auditors and the business
• Liaise with international external counsel on AGMs, director appointments and regulatory requirements

Compliance:
• Compile and maintain the UK Onshore & Offshore Risk Register
• Review and manage processes for music and ******* licenses, working closely with business units
• Monitor new legislation, regulatory changes and emerging risks affecting the business
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure full compliance with the Risk Register

Key requirements
• 2-3 years of experience as a commercial/compliance paralegal or in company secretarial work
• Law degree (2:1 or above) or completion of the LPC
• Hands-on experience with commercial contracts
• Strong legal analysis skills
• Familiarity with legal document management software
• Experience in a multinational environment would be a real bonus but isn't essential
