We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Full Time Paralegal to join our high-performing legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases, providing essential support to our attorneys in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, handling a wide range of responsibilities and gaining exposure to a diverse array of legal matters. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Paralegal, preferably with a focus on liability.

Responsibilities

As a Paralegal, your key responsibilities will include
• Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings, and attending when necessary.
• Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, appeals, contracts, and depositions.
• Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information to support case preparation.
• Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
• Coordinating and managing routine case management activities, including discovery, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Assisting with the investigation and fact-finding for cases.
• Identifying relevant legal articles, laws, judicial decisions, and legal codes that can be used to aid in case preparation.
• Communicating with clients, witnesses, expert witnesses, and other law firms to coordinate interviews, meetings, and depositions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
• A minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Paralegal, with a strong preference for those with experience in liability.
• A Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of legal research techniques and databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
