Job Details
Must Have
• Experience with Subpoenas
• Personal Injury Cases
• Experience with expert witness
• Must be okay seeing images/videos that could be disturbing (counties and police)
Key Responsibilities
• Manage heavy caseload in a civil litigation environment, ensuring timely progress on all cases.
• Provide full trial support, including preparing exhibits, drafting motions, and coordinating trial logistics.
• Utilize Casemap or other document coding software to organize and manage case documents effectively.
• Draft and issue subpoenas, including those for medical records.
• Assist in preparing expert witnesses, including managing disclosures, depositions, and expert reports.
• Collaborate with attorneys to conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Maintain meticulous records of case files, deadlines, and court requirements.
• Meet and exceed a monthly billing goal of 120 hours.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Proficiency with Casemap or similar document coding software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with trial preparation and support, including working with expert witnesses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet billing expectations.
