Job Title: Paralegal
Location: Coimbatore.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Administer and manage docketing (inflow of work), legal mailbox and legal intranet page
• Encourage and educate internal stake holder/business on Self Service templates/documents adoption
• Manage, upkeep and administration of inhouse legal tools such as database, legal tools, Research Tool, Record Upkeep etc.,
• Organizing and maintaining documents/correspondence/agreements in a paper or electronic filing system.
• Upkeep of docket (inflow of works), ensure statistics is upto date, management information system (MIS) on day-to-day basis etc.,
• Managing invoice from external law firms and Legal Department Budget Management
• Legal Administration - DocuSign administrator for Legal Department, act as Self-Service Channel Manager, obtain signatures and file documents, document comparison, research contracts, reporting and basic analysis, gate-keeper for inhouse Legal Tools etc.,
• Gathering and analyzing global statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, documents, andother data.
Qualifications and Experience:
• 3- 6 years’ experience as a paralegal
• Bachelor’s degree in law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• A strong team player who is both committed and flexible.
• Proficiency in legal research and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal databases.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of dealing with a wide range of people.
• Effective planning and organizing skills to prioritize key areas of responsibility, tasks and projects in a high-pressure environment.
• Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines and able to work as a team with attorneys
