We have exciting opportunities for casual Paralegals to join our Government Public & Regulatory team in Melbourne working with Partner, Katherine Whittemore.
About the team and the work
The team acts for a range of Commonwealth clients in one of the largest and most highly regarded Government teams in the country.
The team assists with some of the highest profile, sensitive and strategic matters in the country, and working with leading experts in the field.
You would be handling a high volume of files, with day to day tasks including compilation of court books, preparing briefs for counsel and tribunal documents, daily correspondence with court, clients and Barristers.
You will be an integral part of a high-performing, collegiate and supportive team.

About you
Be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week on an ongoing basis
In their 2nd year or more of their law degree (applications from students graduating in 2026 or 2026 will not be considered at this time)
Have experience in a high-volume litigation practice is preferred but not essential
Have strong technical skills in PDF editing and Microsoft Office
Highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines and priorities
An excellent communicator (both verbal and written)
Have a hard working and positive attitude
