The role |
We are currently looking for an intelligent and enthusiastic full-time or part time (to work 4 or 5 days per week) Paralegal to join our Sydney office. In this role you will provide both accurate and timely support to the Retirement Villages, Aged Care and Senior Living Team. You will be a client orientated individual with a can-do attitude, process driven, willing to learn new technology and have excellent communication skills. This role would suit a legal secretary looking for a change or a career paralegal.
Day to day this role could be |
Receiving instructions to progress matters
Actioning tasks according to their set timeline
Recording and filing of documents
Running files to meet client service level requirements and protect our clients' interests on all matters
Telephone calls and general correspondence with clients, and third parties to progress the files
Regular follow ups of documents, financial status, estate, etc.
Identifying complex, sensitive and high risk matters and escalating them to a Lawyer
Administrative duties associated with running your files
Ideally you have |
Demonstrated ability to use technology and follow procedures/process
Strong organisational skills to manage a large number of files at a time and meet deadlines
Great interpersonal skills to liaise with clients , and internal staff
Willingness to learn
A team player, willing to help others when necessary
Accuracy and attention to detail
