Your Role:
You’ll be joining a small but dynamic team of passionate lawyers and high performers. We’re collaborative, hands-on, and driven by a shared commitment to excellence. As a Paralegal and Intake Coordinator, you’ll play an essential role, balancing client intake responsibilities with hands-on case work in employment and business law. Your responsibilities will include:
Client Intake and Initial Consultation: Conduct intake interviews, assess client needs, and provide a warm, professional introduction to our services.
Legal Case Support: Work directly with our lawyers on case preparation, document drafting, and conducting initial research, especially within employment and business law.
Client Communication: Use your understanding of employment issues to engage effectively with clients, explaining processes clearly and making them feel supported.
Case Management and Coordination: Organize and maintain accurate records, manage schedules, and assist with document organization to keep our workflow efficient and cohesive.
Proactive Problem Solving: Bring a self-starter attitude to identify opportunities for improvement in case management, intake procedures, and client interactions.
What We’re Looking For:
Interest in Employment and Business Law: A strong interest in employment and business law, with an understanding of employment issues and client needs.
Self-Starter: Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while being a reliable team player.
Excellent Communication Skills: Confident and empathetic in client interactions, with the ability to make complex legal concepts accessible and clear.
Legal Experience: Prior experience in a paralegal or intake role, ideally within employment or business law.
Detail-Oriented and Organized: Strong multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
