About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you'll be a vital partner to our business and legal team. We're looking for someone who can expertly triage workflow, conduct initial document review, provide input and guidance on statements of work, and ensure all contracts are developed in line with MLA’s policies. If you thrive on early engagement with key stakeholders and ensuring smooth internal approval processes, we want to hear from you!

Our ideal Paralegal is someone who:

Is a high performing team player that works collaboratively with others.
Has a solid understanding of the principles of contract law and the ability to explain them to internal stakeholders
Can adequately identify, allocate and manage contract and project risks and exposures
Maintains a client centric approach and ability to build relationships across the business
Delivers high quality work within tight timeframes
Has excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage (and prioritise) multiple tasks simultaneously
Exhibits enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and actively partake in the transformation of our team.
Is a current law student and has a minimum of two years remaining before completing their law degree or you’re a current paralegal or law clerk.
