Job description

Greenway Architects is seeking a Part 3 architect or experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its London studio.

The successful applicant should be fluent in Italian with experience working within the Italian construction industry.

We are a design-led practice who specialise in the design and implementation of unique high quality houses for private owner occupiers. Our projects consist of new build and substantial refurbishment schemes across central London and the surrounding counties. Offering a strong emphasis on Interiors as well as the Architecture, we take pride in the high level of detail produced across all elements of a project.

This is an opportunity to work on exciting residential projects through all RIBA work stages providing valued project experience.

Required qualifications and experience:

• ARB registered Architect OR Part 2 (with min. three years’ post-Part 2 experience)

• UK and Italian project experience in the residential sector essential

• experience working across all RIBA work stages

• experience in working with traditional JCT contracts

• good knowledge and experience of UK and Italian building regulations and planning procedures

Technical skills:

• Vectorworks, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office

• excellent design and presentation skills

• excellent organisational skills, time management and versatility

• excellent verbal and written communication skills

Employment requirements:

• fluent in English and Italian

• availability to travel to Italy for site inspections and meetings throughout contract period

Salary will be commensurate with ability and experience.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
