We are looking to appoint an Assistant Cook for Meadow View. The role of Assistant Cook involves helping the Cook to produce a well-balanced and nutritionally sound diet for the people we support. It draws upon catering skills, high standards of hygiene, a knowledge of food hygiene regulations and the ability to relate to colleagues and the people who live here. The role may include an element of overseeing the work of Domestic Assistants.
The role is working 24 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with the occasional weekend shift. Please note the salary advertised is the actual salary.

About You
If you are a patient, caring and understanding individual, working with the Hesley Group will prove to be a fulfilling and rewarding career.
Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role and will have a level 2 qualification in either catering/hospitality or food preparation, however if you are prepared to work towards your qualification in post and have relevant experience your application will be considered.
You must be reliable and have good communication skills but most importantly have a passion for delivering a great service.
You will be joining a team who are passionate about safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people we support and a company who values its employees.
