Job Description
Teach-A-Tot Preschool is a boutique centre, catering for up to 39 children per day, aged 6 weeks to 6 years. We believe in providing education and care of the highest quality in a safe and inclusive environment.
We are seeking a part-time, experienced certificate 3 educator to join our team, working a minimum of 16 hours/week.
The ideal candidate will:
- have an excellent work ethic
- be willing to work additional hours/days to meet changing staffing needs (as enrolments increase and/or staff are on leave)
- identify, report and respond to risks and hazards to keep our children safe
- show initiative to attend to daily tasks
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- engage in play to scaffold children's learning whilst supervising
- will have full working rights in Australia
Required qualifications:
- Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current working with children check
- Early childhood first aid qualification (or willing to obtain asap)
