Role Description
We are seeking a licensed Ontario lawyer to join us as an independent contractor on a part-time basis. This role will begin at approximately two days per week, with the potential to expand over time. Work is remote and flexible, with non-traditional hours available, making it ideal for someone looking to balance professional practice with other commitments.
As a contractor with Pervez & Pervez, you will:
Review and draft legal documents across a range of practice areas.
Conduct legal research and provide practical, client-focused advice.
Represent clients in legal proceedings where needed.
Support negotiations and help resolve disputes efficiently.
Collaborate with our small, supportive team while maintaining independence and flexibility.
Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Strong skills in legal drafting, research, and advocacy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to remote collaboration.
Must have access to your own computer and reliable internet.
Bonus: Experience in small claims, family law, and litigation is highly valued.
