We are looking to recruit a Cook to join our successful team at Grenham Bay Court. Grenham Bay Court is a residential home overlooking Grenham Bay in Birchington. We have a GOOD CQC rating and strive to improve our rating continuously.
Do you feel that you have a passion to cater to a residential home for 34 elderly residents with various needs, to a very high standard?, we have residents that are receiving palliative care and also residents that are suffering from dementia, we aim to give our residents the best quality of life. As a cook we would expect you to interact with our residents whilst undertaking your role, to promote our resident’s well-being and encouraging daily hydration and nutritional targets to be achieved. The ideal candidate would have experience of COSHH and infection control, although this is not essential as training will be given to the right candidate who will have the enthusiasm to continue to learn new skills.
The role advertised is a permanent contract and the applicant is to be willing to cover absences and annual leave, the rate of pay varies depending on age, experience and qualifications.
