We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to THREE locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service. The Delivery Driver will also assist with loading and unloading products, maintaining the vehicle, and adhering to all safety regulations.
Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues during deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes.
Assist in moving items within the warehouse as needed, including heavy lifting when required.
Skills
Proven experience in driving, with a valid Class 5 driver’s license appropriate for vehicle operation.
Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers alike.
Experience in warehouse environments, understanding logistics and inventory management processes.
Capability to perform heavy lifting as necessary during loading and unloading tasks.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to schedules.
