Aulds are one of Scotland’s leading day-fresh bakeries and we are looking for a part time driver to deliver our delicious products to customers throughout the central belt of Scotland. Each driver is responsible for ensuring our tasty treats get to the customers safely, on time and in perfect condition. Would you like to be one of the team – if so we would like to hear from you.
The driver’s operation includes:
· Delivering to up to 30 locations a day
· Driving safely and maintaining a safe, hygienic and healthy work environment
· Following pre-planned routes accurately and timeously
· Ensuring all necessary paperwork concerning deliveries is completed in an efficient and tidy manner
· Carrying out regular checks on your vehicle and recording these as required
· Interacting with customers in a professional manner as an ambassador of the company
To fulfil this role, you would require a full driver’s licence and have the following skills and characteristics.
· Previous driving experience with no disqualifications within the last 3 years.
· The ability to drive long distances and sit for long periods of time.
· Be physically fit and able to meet deadlines.
· Have good customer service and communication skills, be patient, pleasant and enthusiastic and have good attention to detail.
· The ability to handle fragile goods with care.
Operations require early morning starts from 3am onwards. A competitive pay rate is offered which reflects these operational requirements.
