Responsibilities
In this part-time role you will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, managing financial operations, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing financial reports that contribute directly to our strategic growth
As a key liaison between our US and German offices, you will ensure smooth financial processes while supporting compliance and aligning financial data with our strategic objectives
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial data
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
Manage customer interactions independently, serving as the primary contact for invoices and contract-related questions
Act as the main liaison for financial and accounting inquiries from both the German and US offices
Support compliance procedures with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is aligned with operational needs and strategic goals

We are on the lookout for a Part-Time Finance & Accounting Coordinator to join our Chicago team. In this part-time role you will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, managing financial operations, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing financial reports that contribute directly to our strategic growth. As a key liaison between our US and German offices, you will ensure smooth financial processes while supporting compliance and aligning financial data with our strategic objectives.

What we expect you to own and run with:
