We are growing and need a personable and professional part-time front office receptionist to join our team!

Created in 1+++, West Point is committed to providing both technical and business services to insurance carriers in the insurance industry. This position also supports our sister companies: American Traditions Insurance Company, TJ Jerger MGA and Storm King Claims.

What will you be doing?

This position is in an office setting and is not able to be remote. Some daily responsibilities include:

Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each persons visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location
Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments
Receives mail, emails, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and scans, delivers or distributes items
Maintains front lobby sanitizing and organizing as needed
Works with the Executive team and various departments to schedule and coordinate meetings
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks
Performs basic filing and recordkeeping
Requirements:
What will the ideal candidate possess?

The ability to multitask and work with frequent interruptions
The ability to manage a multi-line phone system
Strong technology skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
Friendly and professional attitude both in person and over the phone
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Candidate requirements

The ability to pass a criminal background check
Highschool graduate or GED
Previous admin experience a plus!
Location and Office hours

Our offices are located at 7785 66th St. N, Pinellas Park FL 33781 in the Richard and Evelyn Jerger Building.

This is a part-time position Monday - Friday 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

Ideally, the candidate would be flexible to work full days occasionally upon request.

Physical requirement

This position is in an office environment and would require:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50%- 75% of the time
This person in this role needs to occasionally move about inside the building to access office machinery and ****** guests through the building
Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine, phone/headset, and key board.
Occasionally may need to lift office supplies or packages between 10 and 25lbs.
