Responsibilities
The Guest Host/Housekeeper supports the business by effectively cleaning apartments to meet and/or exceed the standards for On-Base Suites, located in Fort Irwin, CA. Hours will vary based on business demand
May include holidays and/or alternate days or hours as needed
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards and make sure there are no inadequacies
Unit inspections
Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
Report work orders to maintenance
Laundering and folding towels & linens
Stain removal
Notifying supervisor on low inventory and supplies needed
Keeping the linen room organized
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Notify Management when equipment needs to be ordered and plan for delivery time to ensure that orders arrive prior to exhausting current inventory
The ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and guests is a necessary skill for this position
Other duties as assigned
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities
May provide cross-training to staff
Work environment will include the interior and exterior of the Town Center Terrace at Fort Irwin
The majority of work will take place inside On-Base Suites apartments, but employee will need to spend some time outdoors
Employee will be required to walk through parking lot to access apartments
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly bending down, picking up items up to 30lbs, and reaching

Essential Functions
