Responsibilities

As a Guest Services Representative for High Hotels LTD., you are required to positively represent the hotel to the guest by responding courteously and efficiently to guest needs, acting as a source of information about the hotel and local area, and assisting guests during arrivals and departure

You will also be responsible for operating the switchboard and handling departmental accounting and financial transactions as they relate to this position

This position will require the ability to work at either the Hampton Inn & Suites OR the Home2 Suites as needed

Responding to guest requests and inquiries

Taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations

Communicating hotel facilities and services to all guests

Providing information on the local area and points of interest

Assisting guests with arrivals and departures

Answering front desk phone

Job description

As a Guest Services Representative for High Hotels LTD., you are required to positively represent the hotel to the guest by responding courteously and efficiently to guest needs, acting as a source of information about the hotel and local area, and assisting guests during arrivals and departure. You will also be responsible for operating the switchboard and handling departmental accounting and financial transactions as they relate to this position.

This position will require the ability to work at either the Hampton Inn & Suites OR the Home2 Suites as needed.

We are seeking a Part -Time candidate with flexible availability to work either the 7:00am - 3:00pm shift or 3:00pm - 11:00pm shift on varying days, including weekends.

Weekends include a $2/hr. shift premium!

Starting Rate: $14.50/hour - $15.50/hour depending upon experience!

Areas of responsibility for our Guest Services Representatives include:

• Responding to guest requests and inquiries.

• Taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations.

• Communicating hotel facilities and services to all guests.

• Providing information on the local area and points of interest.

• Assisting guests with arrivals and departures.

• Answering front desk phone.

• Cash handling.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.

• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.

• Customer service experience.

• Strong math, reading, and communication skills.

• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
