As a Video Thumbnail Designer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties:
Create eye-catching thumbnails for our various Youtube channels and videos
Bring the latest trends and strategies in thumbnail development ensuring our videos remain relevant and competitive
Develop graphic elements and visual solutions for both videos and photos while remaining consistent with our brand identity
Collaborate with writers and other stakeholders for creation and review of thumbnails, to develop new styles
Report on thumbnail analytics and performance metrics to create data-driven design
Requirements:
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite; specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
An advanced understanding of graphic design, visual design, and creative thinking
1 or more years of education in graphic design or equivalent
1 or more years of working experience in relevant field
Quick thinking with the ability to create and execute successful solutions on a tight schedule
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with several different projects going on at the same time

Duties:
Utilizing video editing software (Premiere Pro and other Adobe-related applications) to log and refine footage at various editing stages

Full-Time Junior Content Writer

Linus Media Group (LMG) is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Junior Content Writer to create engaging and technical content for our internal hosts and external readership. With over 2.4 million subscribers on ShortCircuit YouTube channel and millions more across our family of channels, you’ll have the opportunity to inform and engage a massive audience.
The Labs Team conducts tests, and provides data-driven evaluations of tech products to inform both content and consumers. As a member of the Labs Team, you’ll share your team’s testing results with the rest of the world by preparing product notes for video hosts to use on shoots, as well as product pages and articles for our readership on www.lttlabs.com. You’ll collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other team members to develop in-depth, well-researched content.
As a Junior Content Writer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties:
Prepare accurate and concise technical notes for our ShortCircuit hosts by collating data collected by the Labs team, and information from the web to empower the writing team with educated takes
Create product pages for the LTT Labs website by collating data collected by the Labs team, and writing accompanying descriptions to arm our readership with unbiased and educational product information
Collaborate with Lab’s subject matter experts to write and edit compelling articles, product reviews, and comparisons for the LTT Labs website
Ensure article copy, visuals, and creative assets align with the LMG brand, Quality Assurance standards, accuracy and SEO best practices.
Research and stay up to date on consumer technology, trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for written content
Providing assistance in writing tasks for other LMG departments on an as-needed basis.
Prepare visually appealing and informative technical charts, tables, and graphs with an emphasis on accuracy

As a Test Technician, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties:
Planning and executing test schedules to meet exciting content release deadlines.
Managing project progress, ensuring on-time project delivery, and informing stakeholders of milestone completions.
Ensuring operational readiness with maintenance of testing workstations, tools, and other equipment.
Collaborating with subject matter experts, software developers, and writers, discussing test results, and providing analysis and options for further product testing.
Documenting and reporting test results and notable data to be used in reviews both on our YouTube channels and website.
Documenting feedback on hardware, software, and procedures to improve the quality of tests.
Assisting as required in audit/inspection activities for both hardware and software utilized in Labs.
