About the Family
The parents deeply cherish this season of childhood and believe in organic growth, natural development, and allowing children the freedom to explore. They are looking for someone who celebrates the joy and wonder of being three, while also bringing professionalism and thoughtful structure when appropriate.
Their son is currently very curious, loves the outdoors and they would love a caregiver who enjoys incorporating early literacy and numeracy into playful, engaging experiences.
The Role
This position is evolving from traditional nanny care into a customized, in-home toddler experience — almost like a private mini preschool blended with free play. The ideal candidate enjoys:
Creating and planning age-appropriate activities
Designing playful learning experiences
Encouraging curiosity and exploration
Supporting emotional development in a loving, safe way
Collaborating closely with engaged parents
Some paid planning time is built into the schedule, and creativity is encouraged.
Ideal Candidate
Experienced with toddlers (age 2–4)
Passionate about child-led learning and play-based development
Reliable, responsible, and professional
Enjoys partnering with parents as a collaborator
Values warmth, connection, and emotional safety
This is a beautiful opportunity for someone who wants more than “just a nanny job” — it’s a chance to co-create meaningful childhood experiences in a supportive and appreciative home environment.
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 per week
