Sunshine Physio & Wellness is hiring a Part-time Office Admin Assistant
We are currently looking for a part-time office admin assistant to provide reception support to a busy physiotherapy and wellness clinic. The ideal candidate will have a professional, friendly manner; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be motivated and able to work independently.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns
Coordinate a detailed and accurate intake of information on the patient's first visit to the clinic and throughout their treatment plan
Assist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information
Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patient’s medical record
General office duties such as: photocopying, filing, faxing etc.
Collect payment at time of service
Complete data entry and billing
Run extended health insurance for Direct Billing
Coordinate courier packages (in or outgoing) and process incoming and outgoing email, mail and faxes
Clinic Clean-up, Tidying, Organization – Laundry, Swiffer Floors, Organizing Gym equipment and related tasks
Provide administrative support to the Clinic/Office Manager and Clinic Owner
Qualifications & Core Competencies
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
High degree of organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
Strong computer and data entry skills
Flexible and adaptable to change
Experience in a Physiotherapy clinic an asset
Time Commitment: 18 hours a week - 6:45AM to 12:45PM (Mon/Tue/Wed), plus flexibility to cover shifts between 6:45 AM and 7:30 PM for sickness, vacation, or leave requests is required.
Possibility of Saturday shift.
