Job description, work day and responsibilities

Durham Psychologists, a well-established, busy group practice clinic in Ajax, is looking for a part-time (2 days a week or so a week on a regular basis on Mondays and Wednesdays until 7pm, and more hours to cover vacations, etc.) office assistant starting immediately. You will be working with a wonderful team of clinical and senior administrative staff. As our practice continues to grow, depending on your performance, there may be an opportunity to advance your position to a senior assistant.

Skills

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), Windows

- Reception Experience (minimum 2 years)

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

- Ability to work accurately and independently

- Strong communication skills

- Flexible and cooperative team player

- Physical ability to perform light cleaning and tidying up of treatment rooms

- Administrative experience in the mental health field is an asset (but not required)
