Casella Construction is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for compiling and processing employee pay and timekeeping data to ensure payroll records are up to date and employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner. In addition, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll-related taxes and other deductions. This position is a 24 hour a week remote working opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Compiles all payroll and timekeeping information from electronic sources.
• Analyzes, prepares, and inputs payroll data.
• Ensures accuracy of information entered into payroll software.
• Audits and verifies all timekeeping records, deductions, and with holdings in compliance with State and Federal wage and hour laws.
• Processes payroll adjustments including incentives, payroll corrections and garnishments.
• Assists department managers with timekeeping discrepancies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Three or more years’ experience as a payroll clerk or administrator.
• Experience with processing Construction payroll preferred.
• Proficiency with financial software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
