We are looking for a Part-Time Node.js Developer to support our engineering team in building and maintaining our core platform infrastructure.
About the Role :
You will work alongside our full-stack team to develop, debug, and optimize backend services that power our real-time dialer platform. This is a hands-on coding role with direct impact on product reliability and performance.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities) :
• Backend Development : Build and maintain Node.js APIs, services, and integrations that power the PowerDialer platform.
• Bug Fixes & Debugging : Troubleshoot production issues, resolve bugs, and improve system stability.
• Feature Implementation : Develop new features based on product requirements and customer feedback.
• Code Reviews : Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Documentation : Maintain clear documentation for APIs and internal services.
Who You Are :
• Experience : 1–3 years working with Node.js in a production environment.
• Tech Stack : Proficient in Node.js, Express (or similar frameworks), REST APIs, and relational / NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Bonus Skills : Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, Twilio, VoIP), Redis, or queue-based architectures.
• Communication : Clear written communication for async collaboration.
• Self-Directed : Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a remote, part-time capacity.
• Hours : ~20-30 hours / week (flexible scheduling)
