The Opportunity
RVS invites applications for a continuing part-time (approx. 25- 28 hrs/wk) Wellness Coordinator position starting August 18, 2026 in the Human Resources department located at the Education Centre in Airdrie, Alberta. This position must have a valid Alberta Driver's License and reliable vehicle as some travel may be required.
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for overall employee wellness across RVS. Focusing on wellness initiatives, and supports employees.
Responsibilities Include
Contributes to wellness practices as well as process improvements
Ongoing development, support and promotion of wellness programs
Develops promotion and publicity plans for wellness programs throughout the Division
Provides educational presentations and training programs
Maintains a high level of integrity, confidentiality and business professionalism in dealing with all stakeholders
Demonstrates and models a genuine appreciation for, and understanding of protocol, discretion and professionalism in RVS
Advises employees about the RVS wellness program
Work with the team to develop wellness initiatives for the Division
Administers web-based wellness application
Education/Experience
Certificate or diploma in related field
Minimum of two (2) years in a wellness or similar role
Experience in an educational setting would be an asset
Experience in an HR setting would be an asset
Experience in employee wellness would be an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office and web based applications
Proven accuracy and consistency with data entry and management

This position does not qualify for the Defined Pension Plan
