Your team

As our Partnerships/ Business Development Manager, you will drive and grow our affiliate and Introducing Partner channels to expand our market presence and revenue generation.

Reporting directly to the Head of Partnerships and based in our Melbourne office, you will develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies that align with our business objectives.

Your role will focus on building strategic relationships with high-value affiliates and introducing partners while optimizing performance across our partnership portfolio.

This position is based exclusively in our Melbourne office and follows a hybrid working model requiring three days in the office per week and may require occasional regional travel within Asia-Pacific markets to build and maintain partner relationships or attend industry events.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and compliance, to ensure seamless partnership operations and alignment with business goals.

What you'll do

Your responsibilities will centre on three core areas of partnership excellence:

You will lead strategic partnership development by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-potential affiliates and introducing partners. This includes creating compelling partnership propositions, designing competitive commission structures, and developing market-specific engagement strategies that drive mutual success.

You will drive performance optimization through comprehensive tracking and analysis of partnership activities. This involves maintaining robust monitoring systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic insights to maximize partnership ROI. Your expertise with partnership management platforms will be crucial in managing the complete partnership lifecycle from recruitment through optimization.

You will collaborate with internal teams to execute integrated marketing and sales initiatives through our partnership channels. This includes working with sales teams to support introducing partner relationships, coordinating with marketing on affiliate campaigns, and ensuring all partnership activities align with our brand standards and regulatory obligations. Throughout these responsibilities, you will have significant autonomy to design and implement innovative partnership strategies that drive sustainable growth.

What you'll need for this role

We are seeking a commercially driven partnerships professional who combines strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of the financial services industry. You should be a relationship builder who thrives in developing strategic partnerships and have proven experience in driving revenue through affiliates and introducing partner channels.

Your background should demonstrate success in managing complex partnership ecosystems while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across diverse cultural contexts.

You need to have

4+ years' experience in partnerships, affiliate marketing, or business development/account management in a similar industry

Fluency in English on a professional level

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and revenue goals in financial services

Experience in business development or account management with high-value clients

Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with demonstrable conversion rates

Experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches

Track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships that drive recurring revenue

Experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements and partnership terms

Background in client acquisition and retention within competitive markets

Demonstrated ability to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing partnerships

Bonus if you have:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Banking (Preferred)

An understanding of the CFD industry, products, and regulatory environment

Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin

Proven expertise with partnership management platforms (Impact, Cellxpert, or similar)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize partnership performance through data-driven insights
