About You
You are an experienced content writer with SEO and content optimisation experience (landing pages and blogs) from a range of industries – a normal day looks like writing for lawyers, electricians, adult entertainment, finance, and so much more. You will have a great understanding of how SEO works, why content needs to be optimised, and how to implement these fundamentals to assist in our client’s positive campaign performance.
You may be looking to refine your skills and gain more knowledge, or you’re looking to work in more of a close-knit, but fast paced, collaborative team environment. Alternatively, if an improved work-life balance is your goal, this is the perfect place for you.

We are looking for a part-time candidate with great technical writing skills and a knack for grammar and punctuation. An eye for detail is imperative, as well as the ability to work on multiple topics of a similar nature while producing fresh copy. We would greatly appreciate a portfolio of written work so we can gauge your vibe, understand your style, and see where you’re at with your knowledge of SEO and skills. Most importantly, you’ll be quick on the keyboard and have the bones for writing generic copy in a creative/new way.
Knowledge of SEO is preferred, given the technical nature of this specific role. You should be creative in your writing style, as in, have the ability to think outside the box when it comes to implementing particular keyword phrasing in content pieces so that it reads well (sometimes keywords can be awkward). Our clients are engaged and interested in what we do, so you will be working alongside a team of SEO professionals to understand the needs of each client better and assist in developing readable, user, and SEO-friendly content for their websites - new and existing.
Being able to work independently but within a motivated team is an important part of this job role, as, at Resurge Digital, we take pride and responsibility for our client's successes. We share the workload across our entire team, and even then, your teammates are always on hand to help and collaborate.
The Role
Assisting the SEO team, you will be looking after the content development of clients from many industries i.e. plumbers, electricians, home improvement, building, construction, health, beauty and so on. You will be assisting the SEO team on day-to-day tasks to drive our client's rankings forward by implementing techniques learned at Resurge Digital from both a landing page and blog SEO technical standpoint. You will learn techniques that we have developed over the years that allow us to achieve the great results we, with time, continue to deliver.
Responsibilities include;
Development of content pieces for both landing pages and blogs templated by the SEO team, an understanding of SEO is required.
Collaborate on client strategy and goal definition for success.
Communicate effectively with the relevant SEO account managers, content team and upper management on requirements, tasks, and resources associated with SEO.
Work within operational budgets/retainers.
Utilise AI as a tool not as a way of writing. Training will be provided here.
Strong command of the English language coinciding with strong research skills as you will be working on pieces from numerous industries.
Adaptable to a range of writing styles as well as being confident and focused on your tasks.
