- Position Overview:_
As a Part-Time Graphic Designer at Mindconvo, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually compelling and empathetic designs that resonate with our audience. Your designs will support our marketing initiatives, brand identity, and educational content, helping to communicate the importance of mental health and the value of our therapy services.
- Responsibilities_
- Develop and design a wide range of visual materials for both digital and print, including social media graphics, infographics, presentations, website design elements, newsletters, and marketing collateral.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team and therapists to understand design requirements and create designs that align with our brand and mission.
- Create engaging and informative visual content that effectively communicates complex mental health topics and our therapy services in a relatable and compassionate manner.
- Maintain and evolve the visual identity of Mindconvo across all platforms, ensuring consistency and reinforcing the company's values.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality, on-brand design assets.
- Requirements:_
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in a similar role or within the mental health or healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), canva and other softwares.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of design projects and styles, with a focus on empathy-driven and educational content.
- Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A passion for mental health and a desire to contribute positively to mental wellness through design.
- Preferred Skills:_
- Experience in creating designs that tackle sensitive or mental health-related topics.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for improving user experiences.
- Knowledge of social media design trends and strategies for the mental health niche.
- Understanding of web design and user experience.
- Education and Experience_
- A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous work experience in a design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing empathetic and educational design work.
- Work Schedule:_
This position is part-time, 7-10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. Remote work arrangements can be discussed.
