We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pasta Maker to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, fresh pasta products in accordance with food safety standards and company recipes. Your expertise will contribute to delivering authentic and delicious pasta dishes that delight our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced food processing plant dedicated to excellence in food production.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook various types of pasta from scratch, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch
• Follow established recipes and procedures while maintaining strict adherence to FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP standards for food safety and sanitation
• Operate specialized equipment used in pasta production, including mixers, extruders, and packaging machinery, with mechanical knowledge as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas by adhering to sanitation protocols and ensuring compliance with food industry standards
• Assist in packaging finished products efficiently while ensuring proper labeling and quality control measures are met
• Monitor ingredient levels, perform basic math calculations for recipe adjustments, and document production data accurately
• Support overall food processing operations by collaborating with team members to meet production goals and uphold safety standards
Qualifications
• Prior experience in food production or manufacturing within a food processing plant is preferred
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety practices is essential
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot processing equipment
• Familiarity with sanitation procedures specific to the food industry
• Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and recipe adjustments
• Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
