Qualifications
0-2 years of working experience in the baking industry (Commis- 3 or 2 based on experience and skill levels)
Must have a diploma from a pastry school
Strong Interpersonal skills
Learning and Growth Mindset
Highly motivated and passionate about baking
Should be up to date with current food trends
Responsibilities
Ensure daily food preparations meet outlined recipes including the portion size, quality, and quantity.
Assist the pastry chef in the creation of desserts and menu development
Adhere to the food labeling and dating (FIFO) method
Keep track of the inventory and stock of raw materials
Work with the team and delegate tasks to interns
Plating for dine-in orders and overseeing delivery orders
Enable the team to maintain a clean and organized work area
Think proactively by finding opportunities to improve processes
