The Opportunity
Delaware North Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Pastry Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. Our Chef de Partie plays a key role in delivering high-end food offerings across multiple restaurants, corporate dining and functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Chef de Partie with a profound love for cuisine, who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you will do?
Support the day-to-day culinary operation ensuring consistency with high quality and presentation standards.
Highly skilled at minimising waste.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of HACCP and Food Safety standards.
Collaborate with the Head Chef in establishing, executing, and evaluating food service standards.
Address issues with managers, kitchen and waiting staff.
Demonstrate techniques and provide advice on cooking procedures.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day-a-week roster, based on the event schedule.
Have the ability to work with a high-functioning Culinary team as well as lead when needed.
More About You
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a high-volume production environment.
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict timelines while balancing scale and quality.
Strong team player with the capacity to work independently.
Proficient in Food Control Plans/HACCP principles and maintaining accurate food safety records.
Effective communication skills to keep the team informed of production progress.
Willingness to assist in other kitchen areas is advantageous.
Creativity and passion for food with a commitment to exceptional service.
Team player mindset with the ability to mentor culinary team members.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery essential.
