Description
Responsibilities:
Prepare and create a diverse range of pastries, including pies, croissants, donuts, slides, breads, and other pastry items.
Ensure the quality and consistency of all pastries produced.
Develop new pastry recipes and innovative ideas for the pastry menu.
Maintain a clean and organized pastry section, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Train and supervise junior pastry staff members, providing guidance and support.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate pastry production with other food items.
Order and maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in pastry-making.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum 4-8 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant position.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic will be considered a plus.
Proven expertise in making pies, croissants, donuts, slides, breads, and other pastries.
Ability to provide videos demonstrating pastry-making skills and photographs of previous creations.
Strong creativity and ability to develop new pastry recipes.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work night shifts from 10:00pm to 8:00am.
