We are currently looking for an experienced Pastry Cook eager to join our team of elite hospitality professionals who redefine luxury service and guest experience on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. They must adhere to health and safety and Food Safe standards at all times.

Responsibilities:

Prepare a wide variety of goods such as breads; a la carte desserts;

Prepare dishes for our Traditional Afternoon Fall Tea & Renowned Nutcracker Tea

Plate desserts for banquets; and amenities for hotel guests (macroons, chocolate covered strawberries and jams).

Aid the Executive Pastry Chef in creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of our guests.

Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.

Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a pastry position in a leading kitchen or bakery

Prior experience in a luxury hotel/resort is an asset.

Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods and practices.

Passionate about cooking and excited to join a team dedicated to excellence

Ability to communicate effectively in a Team environment and work in demanding and time sensitive situations.
