A regional law firm in Seattle is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal to join their team. This role handles both U.S. and PCT applications for clients within the life sciences.
The salary range is 80-115k DOE with additional bonus earnings, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, a 401k with a company match, 15+ days PTO, paid holidays, paid parking or bus pass and other perks.
They are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a hybrid schedule and open to a fully remote set up for qualified candidates in the state of Washington.
In this role you will spend your time:
Preparing and filing patent applications, patent responses and other documents with the patent offices.
Maintaining information in IP database and docketing software
Calendaring and managing client correspondence
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Patent Prosecution Paralegal
- Experience with U.S. and PCT applications
- Experience with USPTO, PAIR, Patent Center, WIPO and international databases
- Working knowledge of IP specific software
- Time management and stellar communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
