About the role
A Patient Accounts Officer works within our team of finance professionals to provide support to our patients and our teams across all branches with banking and billing queries as well as payments and processing of health fund, Medicare and other such claims.
Computer literacy and a pleasant & professional phone manner is crucial as you will be dealing with people over the telephone and via email.
This position is based at our Subiaco office, conveniently located a 2 minute walk away from the Subiaco train station. A working from home arrangement of one day per week will be considered.
This position is Part Time, 65 hours per fortnight working day time shifts.
Choose between having one day off each week (except for Fridays) OR you can spread the hours across the week working shorter days.
Candidate requirements
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the health & medical field
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to converse with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
A warm and professional approach
Computer literacy
High level data entry skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
Certificate in Business Administration i.e. Accounts, Accounting and/or other relevant course desirable not essential
