Description:
The Opportunity
The Patient Concierge is the first point of contact for patients and visitors to the Day Hospital, proactively helping the patient navigate their clinic appointment to provide an immediate, exceptional and engaging patient experience. This is a newly created role and is designed to provide an exceptional patient journey from meet and greeting, escorting them to their waiting and appointment locations and providing a discreet and supportive concierge service.
Key duties of this role include:
Meet and greet patients, visitors, clinicians and contractors
Minimising patients wait times and maximizing patient wait experiences
Manage patient expectations and assist teams to meet KPIs
Maximising patient comforts, guiding them to patient amenities, 3-point patient ID checks, taking & applying payments, set up for the next day
Provide discretion, privacy and confidentiality
Show commitment to patient safety
Patient appointment and bookings
General administrative/reception duties such as answering phones, managing email enquiries, sending Day Hospital registration and procedure information to patients, stock take and upkeep of waiting area
About You:
We are looking for someone who is patient-focused, compassionate, supportive, and a team promoter. Ideally, you will bring the following to the role:
Minimum 12 months customer service experience in a similar environment
Functioning in a semi-autonomous office environment
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Capacity to undertake on the job training and understanding of basic City Fertility protocols, processes and procedures
