About the Role
As a Patient Support Assistant within Medical Imaging at Flinders Medical Centre, you will play an important role in helping deliver a smooth and patient focused imaging service. Working alongside radiographers, nurses and other health professionals, you will support safe and timely patient transport across a range of imaging areas including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Angiography.
In this hands on role, you will assist with moving patients between wards and imaging areas, support safe transfers from beds and wheelchairs to scan tables, and help maintain a clean and organised clinical environment. Working across a 7 day roster within a 24 hour service, you will contribute to a responsive team that ensures patients receive care efficiently and with dignity.
