Duties
• Conduct thorough patrols of the facility and surrounding areas using company vehicles or on foot to identify potential security risks or breaches.
• Monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Enforce security protocols by verifying identities, inspecting access points, and managing entry for authorized personnel and visitors.
• Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs; escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Engage in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and calmness.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action.
Requirements
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, security, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to handle medical emergencies confidently.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment and patrol vehicles safely during overnight shifts.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail; capable of conducting visual inspections effectively.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or drive for extended periods during overnight patrols.
