About Wuxly:
Wuxly is a Canadian leader in advanced textile integration, tactical apparel, smart textiles, and soft-goods manufacturing. We pair design, pattern engineering, supply chain expertise, and scalable production to deliver mission-ready solutions for defence and government clients.
We operate as the commercial and operational bridge between breakthrough textile technologies and end users, acting as a systems integrator and program manager from concept through delivery. Our work sits in the dual-use arena: defence and tactical applications (including extreme cold-weather uniforms, outerwear, shelters, covers, and concealment) alongside a growing consumer business translating the same performance standards into premium outerwear and everyday gear.
Our products and programs are executed under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 disciplines and shaped by performance proven in the world’s harshest environments.

You will collaborate closely with design, product development, sourcing, and the sample room throughout the full product lifecycle, contributing to both technical problem-solving and creative execution. This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple stages of development and values collaboration in a fast-moving environment.

Work confidently in Gerber and PAD for pattern and marker development
Lead and support fitting sessions, making clear pattern and construction adjustments
Technical Development & Collaboration• Review and contribute to tech packs, ensuring accuracy in measurements, construction details, and pattern information
Collaborate closely with design, product development, and the sample room to resolve fit, construction, and production challenges
Support cross-functional tasks within the Design / Product Development team as needed
Responsibilities may flex based on project needs, with team members supporting one another across functions
Materials & Sourcing Support• Source fabrics, trims, and raw materials in alignment with design intent and production requirements
Communicate with suppliers to support material development and selection
Assist with evaluating fabric performance, suitability, and consistency for end use
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Education• Diploma or degree in Pattern Making, Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field
4+ years of experience in pattern making and product development
Strong proficiency in Gerber and PAD
Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, and fabric behaviour
Experience with marker planning and fabric optimization
Comfort sourcing fabrics, trims, and raw materials from domestic and offshore suppliers
Skills & Attributes• Detail-oriented, organized, and solution-focused
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
Confident working across design, development, and production teams
Able to manage multiple styles and timelines effectively
Why Join Wuxly:
Supportive, collaborative, and creative work environment
Opportunity to work across design, product development, sourcing, and production
Meaningful involvement throughout the entire product lifecycle
