Job Responsibilities :
1. Cheques Processing and Other Sub Processes Related to Cheques includes monitoring and processing. Serve as either maker , checker or authorizer of the transactions received. Ensure that transactions are completed accurately and that high value, urgent transactions are prioritized.
Complete accurately the tasks assigned for the process within the cut-off time.
2. Ensure that the checklist is followed and queue is monitored at all times.
3. Monitor and respond to email correspondence from Stakeholders and both internal and external clients.
4. Assist in issue resolution and providing incident report in case of errors.
5. Escalate issues as soon as identified.
6. Complete all mandatory trainings assigned prior to set due date.
7. Be a back-up for other processes as long as no segregation of duty issue identified.
8. Perform product verification tests (PVTs) on the system as and when required.
+. Provide process improvements to enhance the system and participate in projects call as and when needed.
10. Deliver on reports and administrative tasks assigned.
Requred Skills & Experiences :
1. Advance knowledge of SWIFT messaging and Cheque Clearing Process/Workflow.
2. Advance understanding of the process and function as well as familiar with the exceptions found in the SOP.
3. In depth understanding of the process background and the associated whys.
4. Maker & Checker of processes; Also understand the End to End of the Process
5. Handle authorization of Transactions as per assigned limit or Accesses
6. Good understanding of how the systems for the process works and able to use the software efficiently in day to day operations.
7. Does effective end to end queue monitoring and assists the team in the prioritization of transactions and tasks.
