Position: Payment Officer.
Location: Bhandup, Mumbai.
Experience: 2-3 years.
Education: Any Graduate.
Salary: 240000p.a to 300000p.a.
Job Description:
· Execute payment transactions by accurately processing invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests in accordance with established policies and procedures.
· Verify payment details, such as invoice accuracy, payment terms, and supplier information, to ensure compliance and minimize errors.
· Review and reconcile payment discrepancies or issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and relevant departments to resolve them promptly.
· Monitor and prioritize payment schedules to ensure timely and accurate payments, taking into account payment terms, due dates, and cash flow considerations.
· Prepare and maintain payment records, documentation, and reports to ensure accurate and transparent financial records.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, and Accounts Receivable, to streamline payment processes and drive efficiency.
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to payment processing, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
· Handle supplier inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, addressing payment-related queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of payment-related policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal guidelines
