Responsibilities Will Include
As part of the Payments Strategy and Governance team, key responsibilities of Associates are as follows:
Structured problem solving
• Understand and identify issues to define clear problem statements
• Generate hypotheses, identify and gather relevant data points for detailed analysis to prove/ disprove hypotheses
• Work in team to identify potential solutions/ recommendations using relevant frameworks
Storyboarding and communication
• Create clear and effective storyline for presenting analyses and recommendations
• Structure and create presentations to deliver key arguments, messages and insights
• Communicate efficiently via verbal and written modes with all stakeholders
Stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate proactively with global stakeholders (business partners, strategy team members, senior leaders)
• Contribute and eventually lead interviews, workshops, focus group discussions as applicable to drive required project outcomes
Market intelligence
• Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executives
• Monitor global and local competitor and Fintech landscape to help inform our strategy and potential partnerships / M&A opportunities
Qualifications
• 3-6 years of experience from a premier management consulting firm, a payments firm (e.g., in strategy, product management, sales), or an investment banking division (e.g., M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) that preferably covers financial services sector
• Experience and knowledge of payments strongly preferred, but not required. Strong interest in payments required
• Ability to work and think independently, strong initiative, and positive attitude
• Diverse problem solving experience
