The OPP has an exciting new opportunity to our People & Culture team as a Payroll and People Services Officer.
The Payroll and People Services Officer is responsible for providing accurate and timely advice to managers and colleagues regarding pay and general People & Culture queries. A successful incumbent will contribute to the efficient delivery of People Services through all phases of the employee life cycle.
About the Role:
Prepare and process fortnightly payroll and transactions relating to employment conditions, including salary over and underpayments and recovery.
Provide general administrative support as required within HR/People Services Systems such as Chris21, CM10 Records Management System and more.
Undertake reporting as required, including audits, EOFY, annual reporting and identifying future reporting requirements.
As an ideal candidate you will have:
Experience working within a People & Culture / Human Resources environment, preferably within a professional organisation where confidentiality is important.
Experience in the use of Chris21 or other payroll systems and the ability to interpret and apply relevant People & Culture / Human Resources payroll policies, legislation and awards.
A demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment with competing deadlines.
