6. Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures

+. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing
Professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies
10. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
11. Update payroll records by reviewing changes, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and
job titles, and department/ division transfers
12. Pay employees by issuance of pay checks or electronic transfers to bank accounts
13. Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and
non-taxable wages
14. Balance the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
