Full job description
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Coordinator to join our San Antonio Team. The Payroll Coordinator will process timesheets, update payroll records, and answer employee-related questions.
This role is posted for Contractor Conversion Only.
Responsibilities:
Ensures accurate, timely and efficient payroll processing and data transmission while maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring security of payroll data
Ensures data transmission files are processed timely in accordance with pre-determined schedules
Processes employee information and maintains employee records in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
Prepares statistical summaries and reports involving payroll information, and other employee data
Participate in system testing relative to People Soft Tax Updates, process enhancements and ensure results are validated and qualified before moving updates and changes to production
Perform three-way match for purchase orders, good /service received and vendor invoices
Work with 3rd party payment processing company to generate payments to vendor by following established procedures
Monitor account payable email inbox daily and handle invoices
Use Kronos time tracking, people soft system, and Infor LN
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree
At least 1 year of payroll experience
OR
At least 2 years of payroll experience
Additional Requirements:
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
