Job Description
Performs all duties in preparation and distribution of payroll services to staff. Researches, compiles, analyzes and reconciles payroll data. Determines nature of transaction and follows all required processes. Performs necessary computations and gathers and provides all pertinent data, including backup documentation as needed. Produces standard and ad-hoc reports as assigned.
Ensures paperwork and reports are complete, accurate and appropriate, processed in a timely manner. Complies with payroll and personnel policies and procedures and in accordance with organizational, governmental and agency requirements. Follows-up to ensure incomplete paperwork or inappropriate requests are addressed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Interfaces with management and staff to serve as a liaison for the Sr. Director of Payroll regarding payroll matters, escalating issues as appropriate. Addresses issues and incomplete payroll and personnel paperwork with appropriate department and assists in problem resolution. Ensures that requests for information are accurately responded to in a timely and appropriate manner. Maintains confidentiality and ensures HIPAA compliance.

Performs reception functions, including excellent telephone coverage. Effectively uses all applicable computer and office systems/procedures to coordinate documentation, data, and information to ensure timely communication and smooth operations. Ensures appropriate inventory of supplies and proper functioning of equipment. Completes filing in timely manner. Ensures the work area is clean, clutter free, and organized.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Two years of payroll experience
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Computer literacy and proficiency
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet timelines

Pay Rate: Min - $26.90 l Max - $37.00
