Job Description
Agostino Management Services, a division of Agostino Group, is currently seeking to appoint a Payroll Officer or similarly experienced applicant for our Head Office in Adelaide.
The Role:
Due to business growth, Agostino Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in a part time position with the potential to move to a full time position. Working within the People and Culture team, you will be responsible for the provision of accurate, effective and timely payroll across multiple business units.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Accurate and timely processing of fortnightly payroll
Interpret awards across all business units
Set up new employee details in payroll system
Manage Payroll and process back-pay and termination payments
Liaise with staff and managers regarding payroll related queries
Maintain accurate employee files
About You:
Experience as a payroll officer working with multiple awards is essential
Demonstrated understanding of Awards and NES
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills within a high volume environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Access Micropay is preferred, but not essential
Familiarity with Time & Attendance systems
