• Experience in Indian payroll by managing big volume of employees
JD for Payroll :
• Collecting and verifying employee data, including attendance, leaves, and timesheets.
• Calculating and processing employee salaries, wages, incentives, and other payroll-related payments.
• Preparing and submitting payroll taxes, social security contributions, and other statutory deductions to relevant authorities.
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and data, and ensuring they are secure and confidential.
• Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll matters and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in Indian payroll regulations and ensuring compliance.
• Preparing payroll reports for management and providing analysis on payroll expenses.
• Coordinating with other departments, such as HR and Finance, to ensure seamless payroll processing.
• Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities, on payroll-related matters.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll management or a related field in India.
• Strong knowledge of Indian payroll regulations and standards, including tax laws and social security regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Indian payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
